KIMBERLY KING NAMED PERMANENT DIRECTOR OF SACNWGA

Kimberly King, former Public Relations Coordinator at the Sexual Assault Center of North West Georgia (SACNWGA), has been named the permanent Executive Director. She has been standing in as interim director since July. The Board of Directors for the Center selected her to fill this position out of a pool of 50 applicants from around the nation.
Kimberly aids in organizing volunteers, leading the fundraising committee, recruiting interns and community outreach. Since beginning her work at the Sexual Assault Center in 2011, Kimberly has brought passion and dedication for the people the Center serves. When she started, she was in charge of legal services, planning and executing the organization’s marketing and awareness campaigns. Kimberly has been an integral part of the Center’s growth and widespread advocacy.

Who will win the coveted Mirror Ball trophy this year? The event, hosted by the Sexual Assault Center of Northwest Georgia, will be held on Saturday, August 10th from 8 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The Sexual Assault Center of Northwest Georgia is excited to be hosting the 9th Annual Rome Celebrity Dance Challenge at the Rome City Hall Auditorium located at 12 E. 4th Avenue in Rome, GA.
You will not want to miss this fun, action packed night! Audience members will enjoy a night of light-hearted, family-friendly entertainment and will be able to vote for the winner, all while sporting black-tie attire. Dust off your formal wear and join the party! There will be food and drinks as well as activities for children. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at the door upon arrival.
